Women's rugby in Amsterdam.

Eight-time champions of the Dames Ereklasse, the Dutch top division, and 2025–26 runners-up. New players are welcome every season.

The team.

AAC's women play in the Dames Ereklasse, the Dutch top division. Training is Tuesday and Thursday at Sportpark De Eendracht, 19:30–21:00. First-time and experienced players can join during the season.

Training and club life

Training together at AAC.

First-time and experienced players train together. The team competes in the Dames Ereklasse and meets in the clubhouse after matches.

English is the working language on the pitch, and, like the rest of the club, the squad draws players from across Amsterdam's international community.

  • Beginners welcomeSessions cover tackle technique and the laws of the game; the rest is picked up at training.

The side now

Eight-time Dames Ereklasse champions.

The eighth national title was sealed by a 17–0 final win over RUS in Amsterdam on 24 May 2025. AAC reached the final again in 2025–26, winning three of the opening four rounds (including 73–17 away at Castricum).

On Saturday 30 May 2026, AAC met RC Waterland in the Dames Ereklasse final at NRCA Stadium, losing 12–39 — a second consecutive Dames Ereklasse final.

Eight Dames Ereklasse titles place AAC second all-time among Dutch women’s clubs, behind SRC Thor (12) and ahead of RUS Utrecht (6). Four came in a row between 2007–08 and 2010–11; the most recent in May 2025.

Runners-up in 2025–26 to RC Waterland, so the tally stays at eight.
