The 1st XV represents AAC in the Ereklasse and retained its place in the division for 2026–27.
Daniel Geurs takes over as head coach for 2026–27. His previous coaching work includes Sydney’s Shute Shield, two seasons in the Netherlands and Singapore’s national team.

2025/26 in context
Top-flight place retained
AAC finished tenth of twelve in the Ereklasse, clear of the relegation play-offs. Five wins across the campaign secured another season in the highest level of Dutch club rugby.
The 2026–27 season begins with Daniel Geurs taking charge of the coaching group, alongside Chris Redmond, Stephen Bushnell and Director of Rugby Gary Jefferies.
