The 2nd XV competes in its own league while giving players a route into the 1st XV. It will move up to the Eersteklasse for the 2026–27 season.
AAC secured promotion with a 20–17 play-off win away to RFC Gouda on 17 May 2026. It was the side’s fourth promotion in four seasons.

Promotion season
Four promotions in four seasons
The 2nd XV finished third in the autumn league phase, then won nine of ten matches in the spring cup phase to earn a promotion play-off away to RFC Gouda.
A late penalty completed a 20–17 win and moved AAC 2 into the Eersteklasse for 2026–27. Jim Crick and Edward Good continue with the group that earned the promotion.
