Amsterdam Sevens entries open

The tournament AAC founded in 1972 returns to Sportpark De Eendracht on 6 & 7 June.

Team entries are open for the 2026 Amsterdam Sevens, the tournament AAC founded in 1972 and still runs every June.

What began with twelve teams, the Barbarians among them, is now one of the largest sevens festivals in Europe: more than a hundred men’s, women’s and veterans’ sides across two days, with the closing rounds played out on the National Rugby Centre’s main pitch, the international stadium at the heart of the sportpark. A women’s tournament has run alongside the men’s since 2005.

This year’s edition is on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June at Sportpark De Eendracht. The format still holds to the line set in 1972: top rugby in a relaxed atmosphere.

Entries, the full schedule and tournament updates are on the Sevens’ own site, amsterdamrugby7s.com. Players who want to turn out for an AAC side should email the club.

Play for AAC.

Amsterdam's oldest rugby club fields teams for every age and level, and welcomes new players right through the season.
