Rugby Site International Coaching Summit returns to Amsterdam
The international coaching platform from New Zealand held its annual summit at the National Rugby Centre on 22–23 August 2026.
The International Coaching Summit, run by the New Zealand online coaching platform therugbysite.com, was at the National Rugby Centre at Sportpark De Eendracht on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2026, with AAC again hosting.
The two-day programme brought international coaches onto AAC’s home pitches for sessions on attack, defence, contact and game management, with further discussion between coaches in the clubhouse.
Programme detail was published on the summit’s own page: therugbysitelocker.com/aac-rugby-2026. AAC was the venue partner; the summit was open to coaches from any club or country.
Update, July 2026: AAC co-organised this year’s summit with The Rugby Site, and ten AAC coaches took part. The knowledge they bring back goes straight to the club’s players, teams and youth programme this coming season.
The Amsterdam Sevens ran on 6–7 June, the men’s top squad began pre-season on 14 July, and the Coaching Summit ran on 22–23 August. AAC’s club season opening, planned for 30 August, is postponed.
